26/01: First time, first look
Ok, so I've never really written a blog before. I'll give it a shot, though.
What's new in my life? Well, I'm job hunting, waiting to hear back from a couple of places. Luckily the job market in Norway is pretty good these days, with low unemployment rates. Which in turn pushes the wages up, so it's all good:) Friday 28th of February is officially my last day in a full position here at my job (I work for the city, in culture)and from Monday I am down to a 50 % position. So I need another part time job.
I recently found out a local publisher is hosting a competition to write a crime novel for kids, with a prize of 70 000 Norwegian Kroner (I think 1 dollar is about 5,5 kroner) and of course getting your book published. So a friend of mine and I are going to try write a book. I know it's a tad ambitious, but what the heck.
We're going to Oslo this weekend, for a name ceremony for our niece ("We" being myself, my husband and our daughter), so I might not be around much Saturday and Sunday.
